Cultural & Historical Societies of Ballymoney

Ballymoney has an active community of local societies covering traditional music, dance, drama, and local history.

• Cloughmills Cultural & Historical Society — meets monthly at Cloughmills Memorial Orange Hall.
• Ballymoney Irish Dancing Festival — an annual Irish dancing competition held the last week of April.
• Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann — traditional Irish music classes, workshops, and sessions, weekly during term time.
• JML School of Irish Dancing — classes meeting at Castle Street Community Centre.
• Ballymoney Literary & Debating Society — three-act plays, summer theatre, and play readings.
